As someone who has known you for far too many years, I can honestly say that you have both influenced and witnessed some of the most amazing changes in our industry, from the massive technological leaps that we have seen over your career, to the very welcome advances in opportunities for women in our, once male dominated, industry.

I have seen you both champion (and highlight) female talent in our industry, along with your relentless support of the UK electronics industry, and on top of this, still have time and energy to encourage the use of technology for good in developing countries. I have enjoyed our many discussions about the industry, specifically, more recently the discussions we have had about the developing markets in Africa as I shared my experience of trips I had made to the region in the last 2 years.
